I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter....the castoffs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal.
And I was angry. "God" I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment and then spoke softly,
"I have done something" was the reply, "I created you"

Augies Doggies rescue is an all breed dog rescue started by Augusta Delisi at the age of 12 in effort to save the lives of animals who would otherwise be euthanized in animal shelters. Now, at the age of 21 Augusta has so far saved 125 dogs from being euthanized. Augies Doggies has recently relocated to Chicago, IL
